About
I have been a practicing clinical psychologist since 1979. I can personally attest to how much I have improved as a therapist with that thirty years of experience. I have learned how important it is to help an individual find their own solutions to their unique problems. I do this in a context of cognitive behavioral therapy, as this approach has been proven to be as effective in the treatment of anxiety and depressive disorders as medication.
My specialty is the treatment of anxiety and depressive disorders with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. This is a technique by which we identify troublesome thoughts and feelings and modify them. I employ an experiential approach, and consequently, it is often more easily learned.
