About
Hi, I'm Rachel - I'm glad you're here. If you're looking for a therapist for the first time, I applaud you in taking this brave step. I'd be honored to get you started. If you're not new to therapy, but seeking something different, I hope our work together could offer you those delicious "lightbulb" moments that lead to healing. My diverse experience includes working with individuals aged 12 and up, hailing from various cultural backgrounds and socio-economic statuses. I'm comfortable working with adults, adolescents, couples, and families navigating mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse.
In my practice, I blend modalities like EMDR therapy, mindfulness, humanistic techniques, and emotion-focused therapy. And I have a strong belief that a dash of humor can often lighten the path. Guiding my clients to their goals involves meeting them where they are at and creating a non-judgmental, empowering space for them to identify their focus.
I strongly believe in collaboration—I'm here to offer guidance, not dictate your life choices. What I aspire for my clients to take away from our work together is a deeper sense of self-worth, the ability to establish healthy boundaries, and the resilience to grow from their past experiences while embracing a brighter future.
