Welcome! I’m Dr. Hendrickson, a licensed psychologist with over 30 years of experience helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and build more fulfilling lives. In addition to my work in psychology, I hold a law degree and have also practiced family law for more than three decades. This unique combination of expertise gives me a broad and compassionate understanding of the complex issues many clients face.
I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, a practical, evidence-based approach that focuses on the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. By identifying and challenging unhelpful thought patterns, clients can learn to shift their behaviors and make meaningful changes in their lives. I tailor this approach to the individual client needs.
During our first session, we’ll begin exploring the relationship between your thoughts and behaviors. You’ll start practicing ways to reframe thinking patterns that may be contributing to distress. My goal is to create a supportive and collaborative environment where you feel empowered to take the first steps toward positive change.
