Are you stressed or depressed? Struggling with an eating disorder? Can't seem to come to peace with your body or yourself? I am the Director of New Horizons Counseling Center which has been helping people make peace with themselves for over 10 years. We specialize in helping people lead happier, healthier lives and do this by challenging depressive thinking and helping you face and tackle your worst fears. We offer individual, couples and family therapy as well as some workshops. I enjoy working from a cognitive behavioral approach, but also have roots in psychodynamic psychotherapy. I believe that most issues are due to a lack of life skills and work together with clients to help them find the skills they need to live the life that they want to live. I have a passion for working with women and specialize in the treatment of eating disorders, depression and anxiety. I have a specialized certification in the treatment of eating disorders. I am trained in specialized treatment for anxiety called EMDR as well. I offer individual, group, family and couples counseling.
