About
Guided by a relational/narrative approach to therapy with a systems lens, I view clients as emergent beings who come from communities and stories that can enliven or constrict their sense of self, safety, belonging, and freedom. In a society that encourages isolation and disconnection, I have seen the profound healing that can happen when people feel trusting enough to be witnessed and explore within and through relationships. I work with people who struggle with painful pasts or parts of themselves and aim to create a space where people can move into greater relationship with themselves, their values, and desires.
My practice is oriented toward liberation, trauma informed, and collaborative in an effort to cultivate deeper self-trust, agency, and interdependence. I honor the strategies that have gotten you this far and will work with you to relieve suffering as we're able and foster growth where it's wanted. I specialize in LGBTQ+ issues and Tandem Couples Counseling.
I'm queer and trans/nonbinary. I work with individuals, groups, families, all relationship styles, SWs and LGBTQIA+ clients. Whether you’re seeking to heal, feel, grow, or explore your shadows it can be uncomfortable to begin the process. I welcome your questions and respect your fear, and encourage you to reach out when you're ready.
