About
I value and celebrate individuals who come all walks of life. I believe there are strengths and perspectives to be found in the life experience we face each day. There are many pieces and parts that make us who we are; our life history, our race, gender, gender expression, age, sexual identities, abilities, religious beliefs, and spiritualities. Pieces that are apart of us, but not always in harmony. I believe as we acknowledge, explore and embrace these conflicts, we can find a new meaning to our suffering, new ways of coping, and a new perspective on life.
When I think of the concept of engaging in "therapy" with an individual there are several words that are important to me; kindness, compassion, honesty, patience, and trust. Let's work side by side and go through this process together.
