About
While originally from Connecticut, I've been transplanted to the Northern part of New England since the beginning of my undergraduate education. I completed my Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology at Gordon College and my Master's of Arts in Counseling at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
I enjoy working with people from all walks of life! I believe my strengths as a clinician are built upon the diversity of my Clients, and aim to serve a wide variety of people. However, I am particularly passionate about helping others establish a deep sense of self-worth individually or in relationships through healing from past or present hurt.
I am passionate about walking alongside others, taking an existential and narrative approach to listen as they navigate life's difficulties. I have extensive education in family therapy and couples counseling. My approach accounts for emotion, cognition, behavior, and family history, and I offer curiosity and active listening to support your life story.
In counseling, I seek to understand the whole person and establish a strong therapeutic relationship to bring about healing and positive personal growth. I believe all people have the capacity to be resilient and experience change, and aim to infuse my counseling with the understanding that all people have inherent dignity and worth.
