This is true with couples, friends, family and even ourselves. We experience issues with conflict, grief, trauma, etc. and try to deal with them the best way we know how. It is a misconception that people are weak or have no faith when seeking professional help. I believe that seeking help from a therapist is a sign of strength. It is one of the bravest things a person can do.
In therapy, I offer a non-judgmental space for you to tell your story and express how life experiences have influenced you. We will work together to identify the problem and separate the problem from the person. I will help you through the process of creating a narrative that could lead to breaking negatively influenced generational cycles.
