Hello there, I am Scott K. Capek LPC I am a licensed professional counselor who doesn't consider his role as a therapist a profession, but a calling. Trust is the most important aspect of a therapeutic relationship, and I strive to earn your confidence. My personal experience with therapy many years ago and years of public service has built within me a heart to meet you where you are at with no judgement. I have seen life through many lenses which helps me approach people and clients with a heart to sit with them in their personal struggle.
I work with all age groups, cultures, on an individual and group settings. I have experience with children and play therapy. I have also counseled adolescents, and adults at various stages of their lives. I have also lead group sessions in the inpatient setting. I have no particular age group because I have been through every developmental stage at my age.
My communication style is non-judgmental. I am very patient, understanding that we all have things that we are working through stuff and sometimes it takes a while to get to there. I can sit with you for as long as it takes for you find the answers you are searching for.
