About
My goal is to create a warm, supportive space where children and adolescents feel safe to explore their thoughts, emotions, and relationships. I believe that every young person has the potential to overcome challenges and thrive with the right guidance and support. I specialize in helping children and teens struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, social skills, and emotional regulation. Additionally, I have experience working with children with disabilities, providing them with tools for coping, anger management, and building healthy social connections. View 6 Photos
I use a variety of therapeutic techniques to fit each person’s individual needs. I pull from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-focused, Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), Family Systems Therapy, and Reunification Therapy.
A unique part of my practice includes my dog, Lulu. Lulu is a 3 1/2 year old Labradoodle, who is currently in training to be a therapy dog and she often joins me in sessions. Lulu has a natural ability to bring comfort and calm to the room, helping make therapy feel more relaxed and supporting. She is especially helpful with clients who may feel anxious.
What sets us apart
I provide a supportive environment for children and adolescents to address anxiety, depression, trauma, and related challenges. Specializing in emotional regulation and social skills, I utilize evidence-based therapies like CBT and EMDR, tailored to individual needs. A unique aspect of my practice involves Lulu, a therapy dog in training, offering comfort and promoting relaxation during sessions.
