About
My belief is everyone needs a little help sometimes. Life is stressful and bad things happen to good people. I help by coming along side my clients and help them to develop a more positive mindset through various therapy methods. The most important aspect of therapy is the working relationship between the client and therapist. Through being genuine and building trust, I work to create a safe space that allows my clients to feel comfortable being open and honest. I am also basic trained in EMDR and sand tray therapy. By dealing with this trauma individuals can begin to heal and make positive changes.
I am an Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist as well as have a Masters degree in Special Education and spent many years teaching which provides me with an understanding of the difficulties parents and teens face. Working with teens and adults who are on the Autism Spectrum to meet their unique needs has always been Important to me.
Individuals with Autism and ADHD see and experience the world differently and having someone who can understand them better allows them to build confidence in themselves and their abilities. As a certified ERPSCC, I am specially trained to help first responders and law enforcement deal with their unique life situations and challenges.
