I partner with high school and college students who struggle to thrive in school. This looks like challenges to: manage stress and anxiety, manage distractions and procrastination, plan ahead and organize daily tasks, start and finish tasks, make social connections, self-direct, communicate effectively on campus, manage and regulate difficult emotions, and to confidently walk through each day knowing they are executing the tasks that help them meet the many demands and pressures placed on them as busy students. Using my mental health MSW/human development background, I offer (certified) professional life coaching skills including the use of powerful movement questions, acknowledgement of a clear vision of self and personal strengths, accountability, and solution-focused action that help uncover stumbling blocks and move to a position of comfort and success.
Trying to manage college life creates feelings of overwhelm, stress, and anxiety. Students often do not know how to move through these feelings.
