About
I help adults at various life stages and across the cultural, socio-economic and identity spectrums, to navigate concerns related to depression and anxiety, relationships, family, grief, identity, health, and life’s many other challenges. My approach is to work collaboratively and actively with individuals in a friendly environment to help them gain awareness of and change unhelpful or unproductive patterns and habits that may be causing them distress. My hope is to assist people in living their lives with greater ease and in keeping with their personal values and goals.
I am interested in the intersection of mindfulness and psychology, which brings an emphasis on helping people cultivate awareness, self-compassion and acceptance. I have a long-standing mindfulness meditation practice of my own, and am a qualified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher.
