About
I am a Licensed Social Worker with two years of experience working with adults. My goal is to create a safe and empathetic environment for individuals to explore their emotions and past experiences. My primary areas of expertise are anxiety, self esteem, family conflict, relationship issues, and depression. I am passionate about serving the LGBTQ+ community as well as folks that identify as gender non-binary. In addition to the support that I am able to offer, we will be joined in sessions by Penny. Penny is a 4 year old rescue dog that loves to cuddle and love on people. She has an incredibly gentle and calm demeanor.
It is my goal to utilize empathy and a strengths based approach to naturally increase your self esteem and ability to advocate for yourself. I am passionate about making sure you feel heard and supported. No one knows your story better than you. My job is to listen and support you through areas of growth.
I utilize a variety of therapeutic interventions including motivational interviewing, polyvagal theory, trauma focused therapy, and parts work. My professional experience includes a strong understanding of the issues that face college students and crisis intervention.
