About
Hello! My name is Nicole Linn and I am a licensed therapist. We usually come to therapy because something isn't going right in our life. We have anxiety, depression, conflict with ourself, conflict with others, or just general discomfort. I work best with adults, teens, and preteens who are experiencing these issues. I also work well with those experiencing ADHD, bipolar disorder, issues related to aging, and family conflict. I also specialize in adoption services including home studies.
I have been a therapist for 11 years and I have a variety of experience with children and adults. Right now I am only taking telehealth appointments with people ages 12 and up. Together we will use a flexible but directive approach to assist you in coping, managing, and resolving the problems you are experiencing.
Here is what you can expect out of me. I will be your biggest cheerleader. I will empathize, normalize, and challenge you when you are being hard on yourself. I will also challenge your thoughts and beliefs to consider alternatives. I use mindfulness (meditation that takes into account racing thoughts), practical solutions, and person-centered methods.
