As a trauma-informed therapist, I use a three-pronged approach in therapy. I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy for coping skills to stabilize intense emotions. My training in EMDR helps minimize the impact of past traumas. I am also certified in Trauma Model Therapy, which blends a cognitive-behavioral, systems, psychodynamic, and experiential approach.
I facilitate healing and change by establishing a sense of safety and acceptance within a meaningful connection. I am open and accepting, with a passion for working with the LGBTQ+ community.
