About
Therapy is about learning how to tell our stories. It is deepening our courage to look ourselves in the face and tell the truth of what we find. It is taking in the bountiful love in the world though it sometimes seems impossible to find. It is learning to savor the taste of a good meal and laughter with others. It is knowing the name of our sadness whether or not we can find our tears. It is being. Just as we are with hope for more to come.
I use a relational psychodynamic lens, which means I use the therapeutic relationship to help develop greater self-awareness. I hold a deep focus on what is happening in the moment. What does our style of relating tell us about how you relate to others in your life? Where there is pain and where there is joy? We can discover them together.
One of the greatest acts of courage is telling ourselves the truth of who we are. Just as courageous is the act of sharing that truth with another. Feel free to check out my website to learn more about me and my work. It would be lovely to work together, but if you find yourself on a different path, my hope is that you find people you can tell the truth to.
What sets us apart
Using a relational psychodynamic approach, I foster self-awareness through the therapeutic relationship and focus on the present moment to understand your relational patterns. I aim to help you explore both pain and joy by uncovering the truth of who you are, improving the courage to share the truth with yourself and others.
