About
My approach is holistic, trauma-informed, and incorporates individual needs and interests. I work with clients who struggle with self-acceptance, body image, anxiety, and utilizing workable coping skills. Sessions entail exploring values and purpose in one's life, and learning how to utilize those to gain direction and develop effective tools and intentions. Therapy can be a challenging space. I find great importance in the therapeutic relationship and aim to provide a safe and comfortable space for individuals to be authentic in sharing their story, and working through a variety of issues.
I operate through a person-centered lens and believe that people know their truth and needs, and at times might benefit from connecting with someone who can provide support, guidance, or a different perspective.
I see value in connection and vulnerability, and find that helping individuals from a strengths-based approach allows room for healing. I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults struggling with eating disorders, body image issues, anxiety, depression, and substance use. I primarily integrate mindfulness-based practices, ACT, and DBT.
