About
I work with teens and adults who would like to address the ways mental health, stress, grief, and/or the many systems we all must navigate can impede on our optimal thriving. We explore ways to be resilient in the face of hardship and turmoil. I can support Folx with identifying if they have mental health symptoms that can be alleviated with treatment. For some, I am a supportive and compassionate sounding board in this increasingly disconnected world. I truly believe that healing and hope are possible for us all, the path forward can be daunting and can only be made better with good support.
I have extensive experience working with survivors of trauma, people in the midst of grief, and those who want to liberate from internal or external barriers to thriving. Such barriers could include internalized oppression, struggles with shame and worthiness, or simply learning to befriend our unique temperaments.
I use Compassion, Mindfulness, and Liberation theories to guide my work with Clients. My training includes evidence based treatments such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I am informed by Family Systems, Interpersonal Neurobiology, and Attachment theories.
