About
At times everyone needs help coping with life events. As an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor, I enjoy providing individuals, couples, and families with skills they can readily use for current and future life events. Individual and personal strengths can be complemented with tools to achieve a well-balanced and healthy mental health lifestyle. Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I provide tools and approaches to achieve individual personal goals and well-being. I enjoy working with all populations through person-centered therapy. I engage in talk therapy opening the sessions where there client is comfortable.
I work with individuals, families, and couples who are experiencing anxiety, depression, crisis, self-esteem, trauma, abuse, and relationship needs. My approach is rooted in evidence-based practices integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), person-centered approaches, mindfulness, and behavior analysis.
In my previous career, I was the VP of HR for a large corporation in North America. With my BS in Psychology and my MD in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, a natural progression was to achieve my PhD in Counseling Education and Supervision. I have always been interested in advocating for individuals through true empathy and an altruistic approach.
