About
If the whole world is a stage, as Shakespeare said, what part do you play? Are you simply acting out a part or are you living the part you want? Helping clients narrow the gap between their dreams and their real lives is a major thrust of my work. I help individuals, couples and families to both pinpoint their hearts' desires and figure out the best way to attain these dreams. A lifelong student of the human personality, I presented my original research on behavioral inhibition at Oxford University. My work was published in Oxford's professional journal, THE FORUM.
My fascination with personality includes a keen interest in how people motivate. I view each person's goals as a function of individual personality, lifespan stage and history. When a person is ready to change, I encourage this by honing in on the client's assets that make change possible.
My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where a client can explore wants and needs and ultimately construct a real life that is congruent with his/ her true self. I work with clients who have experienced trauma, grief and loss, relationship dissatisfaction, depression, anxiety, anger, and other issues.
What sets us apart
I empower individuals, couples, and families to align their lives with their aspirations. With expertise in personality and motivation, I provide a supportive environment to explore needs, address challenges like trauma and relationship issues, and facilitate personal growth. My research on behavioral inhibition has been published in THE FORUM.
