About
Retirees exploring life after a career, young adults trying to find their way, folks struggling with feelings of depression and anxiety or searching for meaning: these are just some groups I enjoy working with, though life transitions (adolescence into adulthood, college to career, becoming a divorcee, becoming an empty nester, etc.) is really my bread and butter! Nobody is immune to life's difficulties, and everybody faces trials such as stress and anxiety, among many others. The fact that you're reading this means that you've already taken the first step to managing and improving your life.
My basis of practice is person-centered therapy. In plain speak, I believe that you're the best expert on yourself, and my role is to help you use that knowledge to grow. I can't give you all the answers you want, but I can be with you while we seek your answers. I will also provide concrete techniques and exercises for you to apply outside of therapy.
Seniors, caregivers, college students, and everyone in between are all right up my alley. I'm also now seeing adolescents (16+)! So, whether you're struggling with anxiety or depression, facing a major life transition such as retirement, or just need a sounding board to work through things, call or email me today and let's get started!
