About
Together we can rewire your anxious brain. A more fulfilled life is possible with quality treatment. I specialize in treating Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Anxiety Disorders including Social Anxiety, Panic Disorder, Specific Phobias, and Generalized Anxiety Disorder. I provide evidence-based care and am well-versed in contemporary research. I received my Master of Social Work from Texas Christian University and my Doctorate of Social Work from The University of Kentucky. My doctoral research focused on bolstering the effectiveness of OCD treatment through integrating self-compassion concepts, which influences my craft.
I am an Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) trained therapist. ERP, a type of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, is considered the gold standard approach for treating OCD. Although my approach is grounded in the gold standard, I consider myself eclectic as I borrow from many theories and tailor a treatment plan according to the idiosyncrasies of each client.
I provide a non-judgemental, compassionate, and supportive environment. It would be an honor to meet you and tailor a plan to address your therapy goals.
