About
Hi there, I'm Ann! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have over 20 years of experience working with adolescents and enjoy working with this age group. I see ages 14 years through the lifespan in-person or virtually. I see women who are on a breast cancer journey. As a survivor, I know the emotional & physical toll chronic illness and treatment can take on an individual. I also understand that life post-treatment is a challenge, and reaching out for help is courageous. I am trained in EMDR and ASSYST, which are therapeutic treatments for past and current/ongoing trauma.
No matter where you are in life, reaching out can be intimidating. I offer a warm and safe space where together we can explore your unique needs and goals. I believe each of us has life experiences that we can use as building blocks to change. Therapeutic modalities I use are CBT, EMDR, person-centered supportive, solution-focused, as well as others.
I believe everyone has unique strengths, values and life experiences they bring into therapy. Those can be utilized in setting goals and working toward the healing or change you want.
