About
Hi, I’m Mira, a licensed therapist passionate about helping people navigate life transitions, heal from past wounds, and build healthier relationships with themselves and others. Life’s challenges can feel especially heavy when you’re navigating societal or family expectations. As the daughter of immigrant parents, I understand the complexities of inter-generational trauma. The weight of cultural and societal expectations can take a toll on one’s mental health. Family & religious pressure can also have a negative effect on our own identity and self-perception.
My practice focuses on anxiety, intergenerational trauma, perfectionism, and boundary-setting—especially for people of color, adult children of immigrant parents, and those navigating major life transitions such as divorce. I offer a warm, collaborative space where we can explore patterns, process emotions, and create meaningful, lasting change together.
My communication style is warm and collaborative. I ask thoughtful questions that may gently challenge you at times, helping us explore recurring patterns that might not have been fully noticed before. My goal is to create a space where you feel supported while also being encouraged to grow in self-awareness and insight.
