About
Hi, there! My name is Sam. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I received my Masters degree from the University of Southern Indiana, and I carried out my clinical training in Atlanta, GA. I've been independently licensed since August 2020, and I'm credentialed to work in Texas, Georgia, and Indiana. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, life transitions, general stress, in addition to other presenting obstacles. As a practitioner of Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), I strive to help clients become the best version of themselves.
My role as an SFBT therapist is to facilitate a meaningful conversation surrounding whatever positive transformation you wish you occur in your life. Together we will collaborate build detailed descriptions of your life relative to your desired outcome or "best hopes" in order to highlight your own strengths and abilities and, most importantly, inspire hope.
Establishing good rapport is critical to the therapeutic process, and I pride myself on being non-judgmental and down-to-earth. I like to think that I demonstrate a noticeable attention to detail in all facets of life, including as a therapy provider. My priority is to leave my clients feeling supported, listened to and, ultimately, cared for.
