I understand that life can feel overwhelming at moments and that it is common to feel stuck, lost, or defeated. My priority in the therapy process is to help you feel better, change unhelpful patterns or behaviors, and to help you create new ways of navigating stress, anxiety, and relationships. To facilitate this process, I combine my professional knowledge and experience for treating anxiety, chronic worry, depression, and relationship issues, with empirically supported treatments that work, like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment (ACT) Therapy.
From our first session together, our work will be collaborative and active. We will work together on a plan that is unique and specific for you. For behavioral change to occur, the tools and strategies must be practiced in your everyday life so there will be assignments or additional activities between sessions so we can track and monitor progress.
