About
My therapeutic style is integrative, patient-centered, collaborative, and strengths-based. I incorporate creative interventions into my work with patients from diverse backgrounds, some of whom have never made art.
Art therapy can externalize thoughts, feelings, and emotions and make these things more concrete and workable. Art therapy does not immediately require language and can be helpful in the process of self-reflection, organizing one’s thoughts, identifying solutions, expressing and identifying emotions, and establishing tangible goals.
I am a new dog mom to my rescue, Loyal. She is a playful, goofy, fun-loving, Boxer-mix.
