About
People often seek therapy because something in their life is causing them pain and discomfort. I often work with individuals who "from the outside" look like they "have it all together", but on the inside, feel like they are falling apart. When you give yourself permission to ask for help to explore your feelings, thoughts and behaviors, you create more room for yourself. You don't have to hold everything so tightly. I specialize in working with grief and loss, anxiety, the inner critic, relationship issues, and parenting challenges.
My therapeutic approach is warm, active, and collaborative (therapy requires work and personal responsibility). Exploring thoughts and emotions and how they are connected to your body is an essential part of this work. Together we use presence to become aware of what you do and how you do it. It is with awareness that we discover choice.
You cannot change, what you do not see. I believe in the power of connection and know that within us all is a deep desire to feel seen, understood, and acknowledged.
