About
I help individuals, couples, and families identify their goals, face their fears, and explore old patterns of behavior so they can make the desired changes in their lives that lead to more meaningful, happy futures as well as better relationships with themselves and others. I am interested in why we keep doing things that don't seem to work. My approach is both pragmatic and depth oriented and my style is collaborative.
I specialize in: relationship problems (all kinds), mind/body issues (including addictions and medical illness), anxiety/depression (including panic attacks), and work/career satisfaction (including peak performance). Helping people to set goals, identify obstacles, and know themselves better in a safe and supportive environment enables personal growth and discovery.
My background is in Cultural Anthropology, Dance, and Mind/Body Medicine including Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction. In addition to therapy I also provide consultation, give workshops, and conduct research about How to Cope with Stress, Co-Parenting Styles, Self-Compassion and Empathy, Effective Communication, and Women in the Workplace.
What sets us apart
I empower individuals, couples, and families to achieve meaningful change and stronger relationships by exploring patterns and setting goals. My collaborative approach integrates pragmatic strategies with depth-oriented insight. Specializations include relationship issues, mind/body concerns, anxiety/depression, and career satisfaction. Drawing from a background in anthropology and mind/body medicine, I also offer consultation and workshops on stress management and communication.
