About
Thanks for visiting my page. I have discovered a common obstacle among clients is how they are highly self-critical with themselves and subsequently experience distress in their world. This process manifests into or intensifies symptoms (i.e. depression, anxiety, trauma, low self-worth, and/or relationship issues, etc). Using a relational approach, I work to help clients build self-awareness, add language to their past experiences that impact their present, and build skills to cope. My intention is to help you experience long-term well-being where we not only treat the symptoms, but also explore the root of your concerns.
I work with each client to create a treatment plan that best fits at a pace that feels comfortable. Our work begins with building a collaborative relationship to instill trust, compassion, and safety. I use Interpersonal/Relational, Self-Compassion, Psychodynamic, Internal Family Systems (Parts work), Somatic Experiencing, and Trauma Narrative therapies.
My background has helped develop my approach to therapy to encompass both the mind and body. With great fortitude, let’s work together to identify the obstacles that keep you stuck, manage the symptoms the obstacles create, and work towards a greater understanding of yourself and your world.
What sets us apart
I help clients address self-criticism and build lasting well-being. Utilizing a relational approach and therapies like IFS and Somatic Experiencing, I focus on building self-awareness, exploring past experiences, and developing coping skills. Together, we'll create a collaborative and safe space to address the root of your concerns and promote long-term growth.
