Morgan Hopson (they/them) holds a Master's degree in East-West Psychology from California Institute of Integral Studies (San Francisco, CA) and is currently pursuing clinical counseling licensure at Southwestern College (Santa Fe, NM). Morgan has first-hand experience working through the impacts of unresolved mental health issues that affect daily occupations for individuals and communities. Morgan is passionate about equipping clients with the education and tools necessary for navigating challenging systemic-related mental health issues in order to best function in client's roles of career, relationships, and daily occupations.
Morgan utilizes a liberation psychology framework and their experience includes art-based healing practices, conflict resolution, somatic and embodiment practices, goal-setting, coping skills training and advocacy training. They specialize in eating disorder coaching and non-clinical counseling.
Morgan is dedicated to promoting accessibility and inclusive care methods under the philosophy that every person deserves access to appropriate and consensual mental health and wellness. In their free time, they are an artist, dancer, avid reader, and friend to their husky Waya. Morgan is also a breast cancer survivor.
