About
My ideal client is the person, couple or family navigating communication styles, life and career transitions, and relationship difficulties. They might also struggle with insecurities and self acceptance. They navigate social justice issues in their communities, families and work spaces. More than anything, my clients need to feel accepted and respected. They exist in spaces where they are judged and misunderstood. They are sometimes in danger of harm for the way they look, the way they love, for their beliefs, or identities. Like anyone else, they want to exist in a world that tells them they shouldn't.
I specialize in working with clients through a systemic lens. I consider clients in the context of their own world and experiences. Simultaneously, I consider their values, world views and gifts that make them unique. I offer a therapeutic relationship where I honor the parts of clients that they often have to leave behind in order to "fit in".
I believe therapy is about witnessing and participating in the journey of healing. We are each fully capable of navigating this life despite the challenges it brings. The answers rest within us. My job as your therapist is to remind your spirit of those hidden solutions. Let's chart a different path for you...together.
