She got her Master's degree in counseling psychology from Lesley University then went on to attend the Denver Psychoanalytic Institute. Her therapeutic style includes Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing, mindfulness, psychoanalytic-oriented therapy, and some cognitive therapy. Her approach is eclectic and based on the individual's needs.
