About
I believe that a collaborative relationship between the therapist and the client is essential for a positive therapy experience. I believe that healing begins with social connectivity and relationship. In therapy, we may focus on thought patterns, relational dynamics, reframing negative thought patterns, building insight into past relational patterns, and creating more fulfilling patterns of relating to others. We may consider how cultural and systemic factors have impacted both your relationships and beliefs about yourself. I also provide EMDR for clients who have experienced trauma or feel stuck in past memories.
I focus on providing individual therapy for women identified or queer identified people. My specialities are related to trauma, interpersonal problems, depression, anxiety, life transition/life stress, identity exploration/development, negative self-talk/ low self-esteem, therapy for therapists, perfectionism, and people pleasing.
Life is so precious and honestly, at times, it is exhausting, anxiety provoking, and miserable. Relationships are the source of such joy and acceptance, but also can be painful, intense, and it can be scary to be vulnerable. If you are looking to cultivating a more fulfilling relationship to yourself and others reach out today!
