About
I think people are really resourceful. Throughout our lives we create strategies to manage and survive our circumstances. Therapy with me means having the space to be curious and explore your current strategies, understand where and how they developed, and to identify which you’d like to adjust to better align to your current life circumstances and what is important to you. I believe that therapy is just one of many ways a person can work on their healing. However, it is an enormously valuable space, and I’d be honored to share it with you.
I offer a relational-cultural approach to therapy. This means I will show up authentically and support you towards your goals through understanding your values, cultural context, and what is important to you.
I have experience working with those struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, body image and substance use concerns, and trauma. I particularly welcome working with individuals exploring sexual orientation and gender as intersected with their relational, racial, ethnic, religious, spiritual, professional, and other cultural identities.
