I provide psychotherapy to individuals and couples who often describe feeling stuck, disappointed or unfulfilled, and despite their best efforts to cope, continue to experience distress in their personal or professional life. Together, we look at the concerns and reactions that contribute to vulnerability, sadness or excessive worry.
We focus on gaining a better understanding of habitual reactions to difficult painful situations, and strive to translate that knowledge into the capacity to manage ambivalence and make personal/professional choices that enhance relationships, meaningfulness, and promote a positive and accepting sense of self.
Having provided psychological services to multi-cultural individuals in an international organization, I have extensive experience with work related concerns, and a special understanding of the experience of individuals and couples from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds. I provide both short and long term therapy.
