About
Each person has a unique story. I find exploring and understanding the layers of each person I encounter to be deeply meaningful and gratifying work. As a therapist, I take an approach of empathic curiosity in order to help you move towards the change you are looking for. I believe that therapy is most effective in a nonjudgmental and trusting environment. I consider my approach to be collaborative, helping you to pinpoint what in your life you are looking to change. I offer a space to process your experience and deeper emotions, gain insight into your relationships, and address patterns in order to better understand yourself.
I have specialized training in working with individuals who come from diverse religious backgrounds. I have worked with young adults and university students over the last five years.
I also work effectively with a wide variety of people and presenting concerns. My clinical interests include working with anxiety and mood disorders, trauma recovery, identity development, spirituality and family of origin concerns.
