About
My approach to treating OCD involves understanding how OCD presents in a person's life and then building a treatment plan together—one that feels comfortable but is also challenging and can produce successful outcomes. During therapy, I am non-judgmental and open to questions. At NOCD, my team and I specialize in providing evidence-based treatment for people with OCD. Our deep understanding of the nuances and intricacies of OCD enables us to properly diagnose and treat it. We have received intensive training in Exposure Response and Prevention Therapy (ERP)—the gold standard treatment for OCD.
When you start with NOCD, you’ll either work with me or be paired with one of my colleagues, depending on your preferences. We’ll work to get to know you and create a personalized treatment plan to help you achieve your goals. Plus, we offer support between sessions through direct messaging and a community of peers with OCD, ensuring you never feel alone.
Understand that I'm here to help you, so the more information you provide, the better I can help you, and the more we can reduce symptoms of OCD. I know this can be a scary process, and I want you to feel safe and comfortable enough to share and express yourself.
