About
My primary area of focus is with children and adolescents (both neurodivergent and neurotypical), as well as their family systems. I believe that regardless of or area of concern, we all need strong and supportive relationships in our lives, which I utilize when approaching behavioral concerns, mood conditions, and challenging family dynamics.
My approach to therapy is dynamic and integrative. I emphasize cognitive techniques, attachment theory, and the relationships established with others, as well as strengthening relationships that exist in family systems. Most importantly, I harness the therapeutic relationship as an agent of change and means of modeling security.
I meet clients where they are, which can sometimes be a slow process and one that requires a strong sense of trust and gentleness. There is always space for creativity and humor in my office, which I believe build on our therapeutic relationship and ability to communicate. We will collaborate our plan in treatment - your needs and opinions are a priority.
