Living with OCD can be overwhelming, often leading to years of silent suffering due to misdiagnosis and misunderstanding. OCD has a way of taking your worst fears and turning them into thoughts that seem to reflect who you are, but that couldn't be further from the truth. At NOCD, my team and I specialize in providing evidence-based treatment for people with OCD. Our deep understanding of the nuances and intricacies of OCD enables us to properly diagnose and treat it. Additionally, we have received intensive training in Exposure Response and Prevention Therapy (ERP)—the gold standard treatment for OCD.
When you start with NOCD, you’ll either work with me or be paired with one of my colleagues—this will depend on your preferences. We’ll work to get to know you and create a treatment plan to help you achieve your goals. Plus, we offer support between sessions through direct messaging and a community of peers with OCD, ensuring you never feel alone.
It’s important to me that you don’t feel judged during our time together. I will come from a place of kindness and understanding when listening to your story. Your ability to share will be key to feeling better. ERP will ask you to face your fears, but you'll find me attentive, warm, and encouraging so that you won’t face those fears alone.
