Charlos Thompson, PhD., LCSW is a licensed mental health therapist with more than 20 years of practice, working with adults, children, families, and military personnel coping with depression, anxiety, PTSD, behavioral challenges, and drugs and alcohol. He provides training for professionals in the youth service industry and with military personnel, using best practice standards as recommended by national boards and certification organizations.
He continues his practice in underserved communities. In addition, Dr. Thompson owns and operates a non-profit called Prepared by 18, which prepares low-income, first-generation, students of color for entering college and graduating college. He’s an avid runner, biker, and hiker, it gives him time to reflect, renew, and recreate.
