I work with individuals, families, and couples from diverse populations who are seeking more effective communication, healthier relationships and improvements in overall functioning. I have over 25 years of experience in the areas of trauma, grief, anxiety, and depression. I use a strengths-based, non-pathological, and culturally-sensitive approach to provide therapy in a warm and supportive manner.
I tailor an individualized treatment approach according to the client's needs, background, and personality. A client can expect to gain deep insights and support in order to move through and beyond their current circumstances and experience not only symptom relief but healing.
I believe that significant changes and relief can be made in short-term, focused therapy. We start the process of therapy by setting clear and realistic goals. We will work on being able to cope with the everyday stressors in life (relationships, parenting, work, etc.); while also creating a peaceful and joyful life.
