About
Hello, my name is Emily! I'm a licensed clinical social worker, and I'm passionate about helping people gain the skills to cope with everyday stressors and life transitions. The majority of my practice focuses on anxiety, depression, and life transitions ranging from school, work, perinatal, and motherhood. My approach is warm and down-to-earth. My goal is to create a safe and welcoming space for clients to be themselves. I believe everyone should have access to quality mental health care.
I have worked in the mental health field for ten years and I'm passionate about providing safe and therapeutic spaces via one-on-one work. I hold a MSW from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and a BS in psychology with a minor in neuroscience. I found my calling of working with women while providing outpatient therapeutic services.
Therapy is a unique and individual experience. I frequently check-in with my clients to measure our progress together and to ensure we are a good fit. No hard feelings if we need to pause or refer out, I understand the struggle of finding a therapist that fits you!
