About
Do you feel stuck? Do you feel like you no longer recognize yourself? Have depression, anxiety, illness, or life stressors made it difficult to be true to yourself or live an authentic life? Through therapy, you can learn to break free of patterns that are keeping you stuck. You will learn to ride the waves of change that are an inevitable part of life. You will build your ability to recognize what can and cannot be changed, and learn to sit with difficult emotions. You will develop the skill to respond skillfully when life does not go according to plan, and will gain the confidence to create a life built around your values.
I aim to create a compassionate, nonjudgmental place for you to express yourself. I will guide you as you work towards well-being—in whatever form that takes for YOU. I will challenge you to think in new ways when your internal dialogue is a barrier. I will sit with you in your pain. I will laugh with you and use humor to bring light to the darkness.
While I tend to have an eclectic approach as a therapist, I am influenced by mindfulness, CBT, and ACT. I am experienced with severe and persistent mental illness. I also strive to support those with chronic illness and individuals navigating life transitions. I embrace all races, genders, sexual orientations, religions, disabilities, and lifestyles.
What sets us apart
