About
As a queer-identifying clinician, I have focused much of my work over the last several years on supporting the LGBTQ community. I enjoy working with teens and adults who are navigating a variety of issues including life transitions, struggles related to gender identity and sexuality or navigating ethical non-monogamy. I utilize effective techniques to address and improve ADHD, OCD, mood disorders and anxiety disorders. Some of my clients struggle with identifying the root of what is creating a block or symptom. With patience and attention to detail I support you in not only discovering your needs but working through your challenges.
I believe it is important to acknowledge how race, gender, sexuality, and culture impact our lives, our struggles, and contribute to our strengths. I draw from a variety of modalities depending on client needs including ACT, CBT and DBT. I also have some training in I-CBT. I use a trauma-informed, collaborative, strengths based, and client centered approach.
I practice from an anti-racist, person-centered, trauma-informed, de-pathologizing perspective. I ensure to provide an empathetic and judgment free space where we can work together to meet your goals. Please feel free to reach out for a free 15 minute consultation to determine if we would be a good fit!
