About
I am a Psychological Associate who specializes in working with adolescents, adults, and their families through traumatic, emotional conflicts and emotional concerns. I provide individual and group therapy and use a variety of evidence-based methods. I am particularly interested in working with adolescents and adults who struggle with various life stressors and exploring trauma factors. I am cognitive-behaviorally trained and borrow skills from other modalities of psychology such as person-centered, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Gestalt Therapy.
My training thus far derives from two types of community health settings, with one located in an inner-city working with adolescents and trauma. My second placement was at a Veteran Affairs mental health clinic where I worked with a variety of military veterans and PTSD.
My clients are encouraged to create a progress goal. We will use a mixture of evidence-based practices (EBP), psychometric measures, and talk therapies to accomplish our set goal. Thank you for your time.
