About
At Psychodynamic Perspectives we have a Buddhist philosophy toward treatment. We believe that it takes courage to live authentically and to live authentically is to acknowledge that suffering is part of the human journey and that these struggles are inevitable, but also opportunities for growth and greater wellness. We count it a privilege to provide compassionate companionship in times of difficulty, struggle, and suffering AND in times of growth, change, and celebration. Our focus is on Integrative Counseling which affords a holistic approach to wellness.
We specialize in trauma, healthy boundary setting and attachment disorders. There are over 200 different modalities or ways of doing therapy. Part of our role as a therapist is to help you find the modality that works best for you.
I like to meet for a free 15 minute "vibe check" session before signing a new client on to ensure we are a good fit. It's important to work with a therapist who can help you with the specific concerns you have for your life.
