Hello! I'm glad that you have decided to give therapy a chance and work towards your self-development! My name is Gahensha, and I identify as a first-generation, queer, Black man. Given that I hold these identities, I like to believe that I understand the obstacles and intricacies of seeking out support for one's mental health. While it certainly is not an easy feat, it is one that you will be glad that you set out to accomplish once you make it out on the other side. I specialize in treating depression and anxiety in high-performing individuals across the life spectrum. I take the mental well-being of my clients seriously, so I do my best to stay current with evidence-based treatments and other resources. I then implement them into my practice to increase your chances of success and to feel empowered to overcome barriers I value a collaborative approach to ensure that everyone who is involved feels comfortable and ready to work. Throughout the healing process, I pull from a few treatment approaches depending on your needs.
