About
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). My early work centered around helping adolescents and young adults with visual impairments and additional disabilities learn and apply social and emotional skills. I encouraged clients to foster independent living skills such as self-advocacy, personal safety, and executive functioning. View 5 Photos
I completed my Master of Social Work (MSW) at Simmons University and am certified in CANS: Children and Adolescent Needs and Strengths. Prior to joining Thriveworks, I coordinated a Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) program aimed at medication management and treating co-occurring disorders such as substance abuse, anxiety, and depression.
I seek to meet you where you are, strengthen your coping skills, and build a collaborative working relationship to improve overall wellness. Cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and strengths-based treatments inform my integrated generalist approach to therapy. I lean on kindness, positive affirmation, and direct communication.
